1. File Management

1.1 Scan Files

This feature is supported in Media Folder (Audios, Videos, Images) View.

Click the Scan Files Button to show the dialog.

Read System MediaStore - This option will read the system database directly to find media files, which can get the results quickly, but most hidden files will be ignored.
Fast Scan - This option will scan folders that have found media files.
Select a storage to scan - This option will attempt to scan all folders in the storage to find media files, including hidden ones. It may take a long time to finish a full scan. .

Scan Files In Folder

Long click a media folder item and choose Scan Files In Folder, the app will scan media files only in the selected folder.

1.2 Playlist

This feature is supported in Media Folder View and Files/File Explorer View. Playlists view can help to manage existent paylists.

Create Playlist

In Media Folder view, select some files and click the button Add To to show the dialog.
Choose an existent playlist to add selected files to it.
Choose CREATE PLAYLIST to create a new one.

Add to Playlist

In Files/File Explorer view, long click a media file and select Add To Playlist to pop up the playlist dialog.

Playlists/Playlist Management

Long click an playlist item to show the popup menu.
Click Backup to back up an existent playlist, all files in the playlist will be copied to a new place.
Click Delete to delete a playlist. For backup playlist, its backup files will also be deleted.

1.3 IPTV

This feature is used to import IPTV channels from local/network m3u files. Please firstly prepare your own channel list file with valid URLs. If the m3u file contains channel info section #EXTINF, please make sure it contains at lease one valid description section. Here lists some samples.

#EXTINF: -1, Group Title - Channel Name
#EXTINF: -1 tvg-ID="Channe ID" tvg-name="Channel Name" group-title="Group title"

Use menu Open File to open m3u files from local storage or click menu Download to download m3u files from network.
If the list file has group info, click File Filter to list and choose current group.
Select channels and create your own channel list, manage these new created channel lists in Playlists view.

2. Network Sharing and Remote Control

2.1 Network Sharing (Server)

File Sharing - Share local media files to Local network. Pay attention that Server Address is used for web browsers and Host Address is used for FFPlayer Remote Explorer
Web Browser support - It can support popular browsers such as Chrome, FireFox, Safari and UC. Help to easily access and backup media files on your device. Its Advanced Features can support thumbnail-based file browsing and media playback (HTML5).
Service Control - Network Sharing Service will trigger a system notification to help stopping current sharing. Please stop sharing if it is not used any more.

2.2 Remote Explorer and Remote Control (Client)

Remote/Remote Explorer

Please make sure the remote FFPlayer has enabled it Network Sharing feature and it is in the same LAN.

Connect To - In the Remote view, click Connect To button to popup the dialog, input the Host Address and click OK, wait for the updating of remote media content.
Remote Control - This feature can only be available if the remote device is Android TV.
Local Playback and Remote play - Click a media item, it will be played locally. Long click a media file and choose Remote Play or just click the remote play button, it will be played on the remote device (Android TV).
Download - Long click an item and select Download to download a file to local storage. This feature is supported since v5.3.0 and can only support one instance.

3. Media Player

3.1 Audio Player

Repeat Mode - Click Repeat Mode button to switch current playback mode, it can support Playlist Order, Playlist Loop, Single Loop and Shuffle.
Audio Effect - Click Audio Effect button to popup the dialog, it can support Bass Boost, Equalizer and Loudness Enhancer.
Audio Pitch and Volume Control - Click the Album View to show the progress bars for audio pitch and volume.
Sleep Timer - Click Timer button to initialize a new timer to automatically stop current playback.

3.2 Video Player

Audio Effect - Click Audio Effect button to popup the dialog, it can support Bass Boost, Equalizer and Loudness Enhancer.
Multi Audio Tracks - If current stream has multi audio tracks, the Audio Track button will be displayed. Click this button to select current Audio Track.
Subtitle/Captions - Closed Caption button will be displayed if current stream has Text info. Click this button to select current track and config its style.
Google Cast - If any cast receiver (Android TV) is available in the same LAN, Cast button will be displayed. Click this button to select a remote device.
Repeat Mode, Volume Control, Playback Speed and Screen Rotation

3.3 Image Player

Image player can support slider show with background music.

The time to show an image is divided two phases, Image Transition and Image Display. The duration and animation type can be configured separately.

The Audio Effect can also affect the playback of background music, please configure it in Audio Player.
